Round 1

The goal of this round is to solve puzzles and uncover clues hidden throughout the mansion. Players will explore eight guest rooms, each containing a specific type of puzzle to challenge their wit and teamwork. By solving these puzzles, teams will be rewarded with valuable clues that will help unravel the mystery. Quick thinking, strategy, and cooperation are essential, as the limited number of clues makes every moment count. Stay focused, work together, and navigate the twists and turns of the mansion to edge closer to solving the murder!

Rules

• There are eight rooms, each with one type of puzzle.
• Each team can solve one puzzle per room (no more).
• Teams must stick together and solve the same puzzle.
• For the metal disentanglement puzzles, if you are familiar with one, choose one you haven’t solved before, to make it fair for everyone.
• There are only 22 clues; it’s first come, first serve, so be sure to send one person down to get a clue each time you solve a puzzle.
• Scan the QR code of your clue into your phone to add it to your clue sheet.
• The next puzzle cannot be started until both people are back together and ready for the next room.
• If you run into the Hines Ghosts, you must stop and do your assigned interactions until they leave. They are there to delay and distract you.
• If you run into other teams, you must do your assigned interactions as well.
• Round 1 will end once all the clues are claimed.

Rewards

There are two rewards in Round 1:

• The team who finds the most clues will be rewarded.
• There are 8 colored coins for each team - whoever finds all their coins and hands them in first will also get a reward.
